One may consider Dahanu to be a sleepy town, but its people are very spirited! Adventure sports like Gliding, Trekking and Venturing out into the open seas are a part of life here.
The surrounding mountains of Asherigad (1680 ft)1, Bahrot (1760 ft)1, Kahoj (1906 ft)1, Gambhirgad (2270 ft)1, and Mahalaxmi (1540 ft)1 are a trekkers delight. Though there is no professional trekkers club, it would not be difficult to find a partner to go into the wilderness. You just need to ask for one!
